The Self Proclaimed "New Face Of Bay Area Hip Hop" G5 The Jett first got his start when linking up with the hottest DJ on the west coast DJ Ill Will, When he brought him hit song "She A Stallion and this then he hasn't stopped yet. At only 20 years old he is being talked about by many and is one of the new faces of the New West Coast taking the rap game by storm. 2010 was his coming out year with songs with Gorilla Zoe, Travis Porter, Bobby Brackins and many more and producers such as Natural Disaster (Turn My Swag On), KE (All the way turnt up) and 2much (Ice Cream Paint Job) !

Q: Who is G5 The Jett, what do you bring to the table that's different from the other up and coming artist's?

G5: G5 The Jett 20 year old rapper out of east Oakland California, i bring a lot of table, i don't really sound like nobody, got my own flow, 99% of my music is all original music and i have a lot of big features so far in my career and i only been rapping for a year. I think i stand out from a lot of most upcoming artists right now.

Q: Iif you could collaborate with any artist outside your genre who would it be?

G5: Damien Marley or Jesse Mccartney , we got the same first name so i think that collab could be dope.

Q: Other then music what do you have a passion for?

G5: I'm a big sports fan and a heavy weed smoker so i guess those are my other to passions lol.

Q: Tell me about your new project "Flight 187" that is dropping in December, what can your fans and potential fans expect?

G5: Yea it was going to be named Frequently Fly 2, but we changed the name to Flight 187 because i'm coming out killing everything. This my 4th mixtape ad i've grown as an artist i got one mixtape that was a super success, i can honestly say this one is going to be a classic. I got big features like always but this mixtape gonna be more personal and more relatable not just on some fly shit like my other tapes.

Q: As of now what would you say is your biggest accomplishment musically?

G5: Opening for Snoop Dogg at Indiana university in May. That was a dream come true and i got to smoke with him so it was an eye opening experience.

Q: What is next for G5 The Jett?

G5: Keep making great music , go on tour, and get this record deal!
