Exclusive Interview with The Outlawz

As the music industry continues to expand and evolve on an everyday basis, The Outlawz strives to remain consistent with their brand “Outlawz 4 Life,” their loyalty, and the brotherly unification since being introduced to the world. The Outlawz were originally introduced by Hip Hop’s legendary lyricist, Tupac Shakur, as guest artists on classic hits like “Me Against the World,” “All Eyez on Me,” and “Makaveli.”

Developed by "Tupac" in 1995, The "Outlawz" have endured many changes and weathered the roughest storms personally and professionally. The result is the perfect blend of seasoned lyricists, musical motivators, innovators, and well-conditioned reality driven storytellers.

The Outlawz still remains the only group in music history to be featured on over 60 million records sold while never being signed to a major record label.

Having such a notoriety to remain loyal to, The Outlawz represent a struggle like no other, and remains adamant to deliver the type of music that they were originally introduced to “Ghetto Gospel” for the streets and for their loyal fans. Now having over a decade now in the Hip Hop Community, the group is ready to show and prove to the world why unification as brothers still holds as a value in all of their goals.

The group, which now consists of the original members: E.D.I. Mean, Young Noble and Hussein Fatal, will drop an album titled Perfect Timing in March 2011. This is the group’s reunion album with Hussein Fatal who went solo right after the deaths of 2pac and Yaki Kadafi.

So..Let's Talk Music

Q: How do you feel about releasing a new album after some time?

The Outlawz: It feels great and right for The Outlawz to drop new music, a new mixtape, and a new album together. It's the Perfect Timing for some true soldiers with a real message and credibility to step up to the forefront of this rap game with real street reality music! Long over due in our eyes.

The Outlawz: The streets and our fans inspired this reunion with Fatal, our new music and more. They been waiting for the reunion with The Outlawz and one of the original members, Fatal, since Pac died. Without any exceptions to this, The Outlawz have to deliver! You can expect real music and real messages that come will gear towards hope, motivation and inspiration. Great chemistry and song writing combined as one

Q: Do you have any advice for the up and coming artists that are grinding to make it in the music industry?

The Outlawz: Yes, our advice would be to make sure that they are original and remain as such. Practice and Perfect their craft and their business before allowing anyone else to. Invest in themselves and don't wait to be discovered: the industry today in age doesn't work like that.

Q: Now that you guys are pushing your album will you be doing more shows and appearances?

The Outlawz: The Outlawz tour every year even without the new album being dropped, we keep our movement alive through our shows, appearances and tours.

Q: What is next for The Outlawz?

The Outlawz: The road is endless for the group, we will have a new mixtape dropping before 2010 is over, a new album in March 2011, a new street DVD for our fans to love that focuses also on our hard work we have put in on this new music, the new Outlawz eyewear, and a new tour reunited.
